Nanticoke
The Nanticoke are a Native American tribe originally from the northeastern United States, particularly in the area that is now Delaware and Maryland. They are part of the larger Algonquian language family and have a rich cultural heritage that includes traditional crafts, storytelling, and ceremonies.
Today, the Nanticoke people are recognized for their efforts to preserve their history and culture. They have established the Nanticoke Indian Tribe, which works to promote awareness of their traditions and rights. The tribe also engages in community activities and educational programs to share their heritage with future generations.
