Nang Talung
Nang Talung is a traditional form of shadow puppetry from Thailand. It features intricately crafted leather puppets that are manipulated behind a translucent screen. The performances often depict stories from Thai folklore, history, and moral lessons, accompanied by music and narration.
The puppets are typically made from cowhide, painted with vibrant colors, and are controlled by a puppeteer using rods. Nang Talung is not only a form of entertainment but also a way to preserve Thai culture and storytelling traditions, making it an important aspect of the country's artistic heritage.
