Nandamuri Harikrishna was an Indian actor and politician, known for his work in the Telugu film industry. Born on September 2, 1960, he was the son of legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), who also served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Harikrishna made his acting debut in the 1978 film "Sankarabharanam" and appeared in numerous films throughout his career. In addition to his film career, Harikrishna was actively involved in politics. He served as a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), a party founded by his father. Harikrishna held various positions within the party and was elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's Parliament, in 1996. He passed away in a car accident on August 29, 2018.
