Nancy Brinker is an American businesswoman and philanthropist best known for founding the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization in 1982. This nonprofit organization focuses on breast cancer awareness, research, and support for patients. Brinker established the organization in memory of her sister, Susan G. Komen, who lost her battle with breast cancer.
