Naismith Awards
The Naismith Awards are prestigious honors given annually to the best players in college basketball. Named after Dr. James Naismith, the inventor of basketball, these awards recognize outstanding male and female athletes based on their performance during the season.
In addition to recognizing players, the Naismith Awards also celebrate the best coaches and teams in college basketball. The awards are presented by the Atlanta Tipoff Club and are considered one of the highest accolades in the sport, highlighting excellence in both individual and team achievements.
