Nahuatl-speaking
Nahuatl-speaking refers to the use of the Nahuatl language, which is part of the Uto-Aztecan language family. It is primarily spoken by the Nahua people in central Mexico. Nahuatl has a rich history, being the language of the Aztec Empire, and it has influenced many aspects of Mexican culture, including food, art, and place names.
Today, Nahuatl is still spoken by approximately 1.5 million people, with various dialects existing across different regions. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote the language, as it is considered an important part of Mexican heritage and identity.
