Nafi ibn Al-Azraq
Nafi ibn Al-Azraq was a notable figure in early Islamic history, known for his role as a leader of the Azraqites, a sect that emerged during the time of the Caliphate. He was originally a follower of Ali ibn Abi Talib, the fourth caliph, but later broke away due to ideological differences, particularly regarding governance and justice.
Nafi ibn Al-Azraq is often remembered for his strict interpretation of Islam and his opposition to the mainstream Muslim community. His followers, the Azraqites, were known for their militant stance and belief in a puritanical form of Islam, which led to conflicts with other groups during the early Islamic period.
