NGC 6823 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Vulpecula. It is approximately 2,000 light-years away from Earth and is part of the larger Vulpecula region, which contains several other astronomical objects. The cluster is estimated to be around 10 million years old and contains a number of bright, young stars. Surrounding NGC 6823 is a nebula known as LBN 762, which is a region of gas and dust that contributes to star formation.
