NGC_2682, also known as the Beehive Cluster, is an open star cluster located in the constellation Cancer. It is approximately 577 light-years away from Earth and contains around 1,000 stars. The cluster is estimated to be about 600 million years old and is one of the closest open clusters to our planet.
The Beehive Cluster is easily visible to the naked eye and can be found using binoculars or small telescopes.
