NGC_2547
NGC 2547 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Carina. It is approximately 1,200 light-years away from Earth and is estimated to be around 35 million years old. The cluster contains several hundred stars, many of which are young and relatively hot.
Discovered by John Frederick William Herschel in 1834, NGC 2547 is notable for its bright stars and is often studied to understand stellar evolution. The cluster is also a part of the larger Carina Nebula region, which is rich in star formation and cosmic phenomena.
