NGC 7789
NGC 7789 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is approximately 5,000 light-years away from Earth and contains around 100 stars. The cluster is also known as the "White Rose" due to its appearance in telescopes, resembling a blooming flower.
Discovered by the astronomer Caroline Herschel in 1783, NGC 7789 is notable for its rich population of stars, many of which are similar in age and composition. The cluster is about 1.6 billion years old, making it an interesting subject for studying stellar evolution and the dynamics of star clusters.
