NGC 7331
NGC 7331 is a spiral galaxy located approximately 40 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. It is often referred to as the "Milky Way's twin" due to its similar structure and appearance. The galaxy spans about 100,000 light-years in diameter and is classified as a type SA spiral galaxy.
Discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1784, NGC 7331 is notable for its bright core and well-defined spiral arms. It is part of a group of galaxies known as the Deer Lick Group, which includes several other galaxies that are relatively close to it in space.
