NGC 7239
NGC 7239 is a bright open star cluster located in the constellation Camelopardalis. It was discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1788. This cluster is approximately 3,000 light-years away from Earth and contains several young stars that are still in the process of forming.
The cluster spans about 20 light-years across and is estimated to be around 100 million years old. NGC 7239 is notable for its relatively high concentration of stars, making it an interesting target for amateur astronomers and astrophotographers. Its position in the northern sky allows for good visibility during certain times of the year.
