NGC 7078
NGC 7078, also known as M15, is a globular cluster located in the constellation Pegasus. It is approximately 33,600 light-years away from Earth and is one of the densest globular clusters known, containing hundreds of thousands of stars packed into a relatively small area.
Discovered by Jean-Dominique Maraldi in 1746, NGC 7078 is notable for its bright core and the presence of several variable stars. It is also home to a central black hole, which is unusual for globular clusters. Observations of NGC 7078 provide valuable insights into stellar evolution and the dynamics of star clusters.
