NGC 4710
NGC 4710 is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Coma Berenices. It is approximately 60 million light-years away from Earth and is part of the Virgo Cluster. The galaxy has a distinct elongated shape and is classified as type SBc, indicating its spiral structure with a central bar.
Discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1785, NGC 4710 is notable for its bright core and well-defined spiral arms. It is a relatively faint galaxy, with an apparent magnitude of around 12.5, making it challenging to observe without a telescope.
