NGC 3584
NGC 3584 is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 50 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. It was discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1784. This galaxy is notable for its bright central bar structure and well-defined spiral arms, which are characteristic features of barred spiral galaxies.
The galaxy has an apparent magnitude of about 11.5, making it faintly visible through small telescopes. NGC 3584 is part of the Virgo Supercluster, which contains many other galaxies, and it is often studied to understand the formation and evolution of spiral galaxies in the universe.
