NGC 2682
NGC 2682, also known as the Beehive Cluster, is an open star cluster located in the constellation Cancer. It is approximately 577 light-years away from Earth and contains around 1,000 stars. The cluster is estimated to be about 600 million years old and is one of the closest open clusters to our planet.
The Beehive Cluster is easily visible to the naked eye under dark skies and appears as a fuzzy patch. It is best observed with binoculars or small telescopes, which reveal its many stars. This cluster is a popular target for amateur astronomers and is often studied for its stellar evolution.
