NGC 2011
NGC 2011 is an open star cluster located in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. It is situated approximately 163,000 light-years from Earth and is part of a group of clusters that are rich in young, hot stars.
Discovered by John Herschel in 1834, NGC 2011 contains several bright stars and is estimated to be around 100 million years old. The cluster is often studied for its stellar formation processes and the dynamics of star clusters in different environments.
