NGC 145
NGC 145 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation of {Cetus}. It is approximately 60 million light-years away from Earth and is part of a group of galaxies known as the {Cetus II Group}. NGC 145 has a diameter of about 50,000 light-years and is characterized by its bright core and well-defined spiral arms.
Discovered by {John Herschel} in 1834, NGC 145 is not one of the most prominent galaxies, but it contributes to our understanding of galaxy formation and evolution. Observations of this galaxy help astronomers study the dynamics of spiral galaxies and their interactions with neighboring galaxies in the universe.
