NFL championships
The NFL Championship refers to the title game of the National Football League, which determines the league champion. Historically, the championship was played before the Super Bowl era, with the last NFL Championship Game occurring in 1969. Since then, the Super Bowl has become the premier championship event, featuring the winners of the two conferences: the AFC and the NFC.
The Super Bowl, first held in 1967, is now the culmination of the NFL season and is one of the most-watched sporting events globally. Each year, the two conference champions compete for the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy, named after the legendary coach of the Green Bay Packers.
