NFL Scouting Combine
The NFL Scouting Combine is an annual event where college football players showcase their skills in front of NFL coaches, general managers, and scouts. It typically takes place in late February or early March in Indianapolis, Indiana. Players participate in various drills, including the 40-yard dash, bench press, and agility tests, to demonstrate their athletic abilities.
In addition to physical tests, the combine includes interviews and psychological evaluations to assess players' mental readiness for professional football. The results help NFL teams make informed decisions during the NFL Draft, where they select new talent to join their rosters.
