NASA's DAVINCI+
NASA's DAVINCI+ (Deep Atmosphere Venus Investigation of Noble gases, Chemistry, and Imaging) is a mission designed to study the atmosphere of Venus. Scheduled for launch in the late 2020s, it aims to understand the planet's composition, climate, and geological history.
The spacecraft will carry a descent probe that will analyze the atmosphere as it descends, collecting data on gases and other elements. DAVINCI+ will also capture high-resolution images of Venus' surface, helping scientists learn more about its volcanic activity and potential for past habitability.
