N.T. Rama Rao, commonly known as NTR, was a prominent Indian actor and politician, born on May 28, 1923, in Nimmakuru, Andhra Pradesh. In addition to his acting career, NTR founded the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982, aiming to serve the interests of the Telugu-speaking people.
