N.T. Rama Rao
N.T. Rama Rao, commonly known as NTR, was a prominent Indian actor and politician, born on May 28, 1923, in Nimmakuru, Andhra Pradesh. He gained fame for his roles in Telugu cinema, particularly for portraying mythological characters. NTR's charismatic performances made him a beloved figure in the film industry.
In addition to his acting career, NTR founded the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982, aiming to serve the interests of the Telugu-speaking people. He served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh multiple times, implementing various welfare programs. NTR passed away on January 18, 1996, leaving a lasting legacy in both cinema and politics.
