Mynah
The mynah is a medium-sized bird belonging to the family Sturnidae, commonly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia. Known for its striking yellow eye patches and bright plumage, the mynah is often recognized for its ability to mimic human speech and other sounds. There are several species of mynah, with the common mynah (Acridotheres tristis) being the most widespread.
Mynahs typically inhabit urban areas, gardens, and agricultural fields, where they feed on insects, fruits, and scraps. They are social birds, often seen in pairs or small flocks. Their adaptability to human environments has made them popular in some cultures, where they are kept as pets or used in traditional practices.
