Mycroft Holmes
Mycroft Holmes is a fictional character created by Arthur Conan Doyle in the Sherlock Holmes series. He is the older brother of Sherlock Holmes and is known for his exceptional intelligence and deductive reasoning. Mycroft works for the British government, often dealing with complex political matters, and is portrayed as being even more intellectually gifted than Sherlock, though less active in solving crimes.
Unlike his brother, Mycroft prefers to work from his office rather than engage in fieldwork. He often provides valuable insights and assistance to Sherlock during investigations. Mycroft's character appears in several stories, including "The Greek Interpreter" and "The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans."
