Mutsuki-class
The Mutsuki-class is a class of destroyers that were built for the Imperial Japanese Navy during the late 1920s and early 1930s. These ships were designed to be fast and agile, with a focus on anti-submarine warfare and fleet escort duties. A total of 12 ships were constructed, with the first ship, Mutsuki, launched in 1926.
Mutsuki-class destroyers featured a displacement of around 1,500 tons and were equipped with torpedoes and naval guns. They played a significant role in various naval operations during the early stages of World War II, particularly in the Pacific Theater, before many were lost in combat or scrapped post-war.
