Museo Subacuático de Arte
The Museo Subacuático de Arte (MUSA) is an underwater museum located off the coast of Cancún, Mexico. Established in 2009, it features over 500 life-sized sculptures created by various artists, designed to promote coral reef conservation and marine life restoration. The museum spans approximately 420 square meters and is submerged in the Caribbean Sea.
Visitors can explore MUSA through snorkeling, diving, or glass-bottom boat tours. The sculptures serve as artificial reefs, providing habitats for marine species while also attracting tourists. MUSA aims to raise awareness about environmental issues and the importance of protecting marine ecosystems.
