Musaylimah
Musaylimah, also known as Musaylimah the Liar, was a self-proclaimed prophet in the 7th century CE during the time of the early Islamic community. He emerged in the Arabian Peninsula, particularly in the region of Yamamah, and claimed to receive revelations similar to those of the Prophet Muhammad. His teachings attracted a following, leading to significant tensions with the early Muslims.
After the death of Muhammad in 632 CE, Musaylimah's influence grew, prompting the first Muslim military campaigns against him. He was ultimately defeated in the Battle of Yamamah in 632 CE, where he was killed, marking the decline of his movement and solidifying the authority of the early Islamic state.
