Mundaring Weir
Mundaring Weir is a significant water reservoir located in the Mundaring region of Western Australia. Constructed in the late 1890s, it was designed to supply water to the growing population of Perth. The weir is an essential part of the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme, which transports water from the Swan River to the interior of the state.
The weir is surrounded by scenic landscapes, making it a popular spot for outdoor activities such as hiking and picnicking. Visitors can enjoy views of the dam and the surrounding Boorabbin National Park, which is home to diverse flora and fauna.
