Muggle-Born
A "Muggle-Born" is a term used in the Harry Potter series to describe a witch or wizard who is born to non-magical parents, known as Muggles. Despite having no magical heritage, Muggle-Borns possess magical abilities and can attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry like their magical counterparts.
Muggle-Borns often face prejudice from some members of the wizarding community, particularly from those who believe in the superiority of pure-blood wizards. This discrimination is a central theme in the series, highlighting issues of identity and acceptance within the magical world.
