Mount Yale
Mount Yale is a prominent peak located in the Collegiate Peaks of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. It stands at an elevation of 14,197 feet (4,392 meters) and is one of the 58 mountains in the state classified as a "fourteener," meaning it exceeds 14,000 feet in height. The mountain is named after Yale University and is part of the San Isabel National Forest.
The mountain is popular among hikers and climbers, offering various routes to the summit. The most common trail is the East Ridge route, which is considered a Class 2 hike, making it accessible for many outdoor enthusiasts. Mount Yale is also known for its stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including other peaks in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness.
