Mount Kyrenia
Mount Kyrenia, also known as Kyrenia Mountains, is a mountain range located in northern Cyprus. It stretches approximately 160 kilometers along the northern coast of the island, offering stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The highest peak, Bellapais, reaches an elevation of about 1,024 meters.
The region is characterized by its rugged terrain, rich biodiversity, and historical significance. Numerous hiking trails wind through the mountains, attracting outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the area is home to several ancient ruins, including the Kyrenia Castle, which reflects the rich cultural heritage of Cyprus.
