Mount Adams Wilderness
The Mount Adams Wilderness is a protected area located in the state of Washington, part of the larger Gifford Pinchot National Forest. It encompasses approximately 46,000 acres and features diverse ecosystems, including old-growth forests, alpine meadows, and volcanic landscapes. The centerpiece of the wilderness is Mount Adams, the second-highest peak in Washington, which rises to 12,281 feet.
