Motivation Theories
Motivation theories explain why people act in certain ways and what drives their behavior. One well-known theory is Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, which suggests that individuals are motivated by a series of needs, starting from basic physiological needs to higher-level psychological needs like self-actualization.
Another important theory is Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory, which divides factors influencing motivation into hygiene factors and motivators. Hygiene factors, such as salary and work conditions, can prevent dissatisfaction, while motivators, like recognition and achievement, can enhance job satisfaction and drive performance.
