Moshe Feinstein
Moshe Feinstein was a prominent Orthodox Jewish rabbi and halachic authority born in 1895 in what is now Belarus. He is best known for his extensive writings on Jewish law, particularly in his multi-volume work, Igrot Moshe, which addresses a wide range of contemporary issues faced by Jewish communities.
Feinstein immigrated to the United States in 1936, where he became a leading figure in American Orthodoxy. He served as the rabbi of the Lower East Side of New York City and was highly respected for his ability to apply traditional Jewish law to modern circumstances, influencing many Jewish leaders and communities worldwide.
