Moroccan Security Services
The Moroccan Security Services consist of various agencies responsible for maintaining public order and national security in Morocco. Key components include the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST) and the Royal Gendarmerie, which focus on intelligence gathering and law enforcement, respectively. These agencies work together to combat crime, terrorism, and other security threats.
In addition to domestic security, the Moroccan Security Services also collaborate with international organizations and other countries to address transnational issues such as drug trafficking and human smuggling. Their efforts aim to ensure a stable environment for citizens and promote regional security in North Africa.
