Mormon theology
Mormon theology, primarily associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, emphasizes the belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost as distinct beings. It teaches that all humans are children of God and have the potential to become like Him through obedience to His commandments and the teachings of Jesus.
Central to Mormon beliefs is the concept of ongoing revelation, meaning that God continues to guide humanity through modern prophets, such as Joseph Smith, the church's founder. The faith also includes unique scriptures, such as the Book of Mormon, which complements the Bible and provides additional insights into God's plan for humanity.
