Mormon Temples
Mormon temples are sacred buildings used by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often referred to as Mormons. Unlike regular church meetinghouses, temples are places for special ceremonies and ordinances, such as marriages and baptisms for the dead. They are considered holy spaces where members seek spiritual guidance and make covenants with God.
Temples are typically built in prominent locations and feature distinctive architecture, often with spires and symbolic elements. Access to temples is restricted to members who hold a temple recommend, which signifies their commitment to the faith and adherence to its teachings.
