Moose Factory
Moose Factory is a small community located on Moose Factory Island in Ontario, Canada. It is situated at the mouth of the Moose River, near the James Bay. The community is primarily inhabited by the Cree people and serves as a cultural and historical center for the region.
The island is accessible by boat or plane, as there are no roads connecting it to the mainland. Moose Factory has a rich history, being one of the oldest European settlements in Ontario, established in the 17th century as a trading post by the Hudson's Bay Company.
