Montserrat Figueras
Montserrat Figueras was a renowned Spanish soprano, celebrated for her contributions to early music and the performance of medieval and Renaissance repertoire. Born on April 18, 1942, in Barcelona, she became a prominent figure in the world of classical music, known for her clear voice and expressive interpretations.
Throughout her career, Figueras collaborated with various ensembles, including the Hesperion XXI, which was co-founded by her husband, the famous conductor Jordi Savall.
