Mongolian Religion
Mongolian religion is primarily characterized by a blend of traditional beliefs and practices, including Tengrism, which emphasizes the worship of the sky god Tengri and nature spirits. This ancient belief system is deeply rooted in the nomadic lifestyle of the Mongolian people, who view the natural world as sacred and interconnected.
In addition to Tengrism, many Mongolians practice Buddhism, particularly the Tibetan form, which was introduced in the 16th century. This has led to a unique fusion of spiritual practices, where rituals and teachings from both Tengrism and Buddhism coexist, influencing the cultural and spiritual life of the Mongolian people.
