Mokulua Islands
The Mokulua Islands are a pair of small islands located off the coast of Lanikai Beach in Kailua, Hawaii. Known as Moku Nui and Moku Iki, these islands are part of the Hawaiian Islands and are accessible by kayak or boat. They are popular destinations for outdoor activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and birdwatching.
The islands are home to diverse marine life and seabird species, making them an important ecological area. Moku Nui is the larger of the two islands and features a small beach, while Moku Iki is smaller and uninhabited. Both islands are protected as part of the Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge.
