Mojmir II
Mojmir II was a ruler of the Great Moravian Empire, which existed in Central Europe during the 9th century. He is known to have reigned around 870 AD, following the reign of his predecessor, Mojmir I. His leadership came during a time of cultural and political development in the region, particularly with the influence of Cyril and Methodius, who introduced Christianity and the Glagolitic alphabet.
Mojmir II's reign faced challenges, including conflicts with neighboring powers such as the Hungarians and the Franks. Despite these difficulties, he is remembered for his efforts to maintain the unity and strength of the Moravian state, contributing to its historical significance in European history.
