Mohammad Azhar
Mohammad Azhar, commonly known as Azharuddin, is a former Indian cricketer and captain of the Indian national team. Born on February 8, 1963, in Hyderabad, he was known for his elegant batting style and exceptional fielding skills. Azhar played in 99 Test matches and 334 One Day Internationals (ODIs) from 1984 to 2000, making significant contributions to Indian cricket.
After retiring from international cricket, Azharuddin transitioned into politics and served as a Member of Parliament. He has also been involved in various cricket-related activities, including coaching and administration, and remains a prominent figure in Indian sports.
