Mohéli
Mohéli is one of the three main islands that make up the Comoros archipelago, located in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and the African coast. It is the smallest of the islands, covering an area of about 223 square kilometers. The capital city is Moutsamoudou, and the island is known for its lush landscapes, beautiful beaches, and rich biodiversity, including marine life.
The island's economy is primarily based on agriculture, with vanilla, cloves, and coconuts being significant cash crops. Mohéli is also home to the Mohéli Marine Park, which aims to protect its unique ecosystems and promote sustainable tourism. The island's culture reflects a blend of African, Arab, and French influences, making it a unique destination.
