Moçambique
Moçambique, located in southeastern Africa, is bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east and shares land borders with Tanzania, Malawi, and Zambia to the north, Zimbabwe to the west, and South Africa and Eswatini to the southwest. The capital city is Maputo, known for its vibrant culture and colonial architecture. The country has a diverse landscape, featuring coastal beaches, savannas, and the Zambezi River.
The official language of Moçambique is Portuguese, a remnant of its colonial past. The nation gained independence from Portugal in 1975 and has since worked to rebuild its economy, which is primarily based on agriculture, mining, and tourism. Moçambique is also known for its rich biodiversity and numerous national parks, such as Gorongosa National Park.
