Misaki Shokuhou is a fictional character from the light novel and anime series A Certain Magical Index and its spin-off A Certain Scientific Railgun. She is known as the "Level 5" esper with the ability to manipulate and control others' actions, a power referred to as "Mental Out." Shokuhou is a student at Academy City, a place where individuals with supernatural abilities are trained.
