Mirai Nagasu is an American figure skater known for her accomplishments in singles and team events. Born on April 16, 1993, in Montebello, California, she gained fame for her performances at various national and international competitions, including the Winter Olympics. Nagasu made history at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang by becoming the first American woman to land a triple axel in Olympic competition. Throughout her career, she has earned multiple medals at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships and has represented the United States in several world championships.
