Minority Report
"Minority Report" is a science fiction film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on a story by Philip K. Dick. Set in a future where a specialized police department uses psychic beings called precogs to predict crimes before they happen, the film explores themes of free will and determinism. The protagonist, John Anderton, played by Tom Cruise, is a chief officer in this department who becomes a fugitive after being accused of a future murder.
As Anderton seeks to prove his innocence, he uncovers a conspiracy that challenges the very foundation of the PreCrime system. The film raises questions about morality, justice, and the implications of technology in society. It combines action with philosophical inquiries, making it a thought-provoking narrative.
