Minnesota North Stars
The Minnesota North Stars were a professional ice hockey team based in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. They were established in 1967 as part of the NHL expansion and played their home games at the Met Center. The team was known for its green and gold colors and had a loyal fan base throughout its existence.
In 1993, the North Stars relocated to Dallas, Texas, becoming the Dallas Stars. During their time in Minnesota, the North Stars made several playoff appearances and reached the Stanley Cup Finals in 1991, where they ultimately lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
